This track shows how contagious a simple tune can be. Whether you’re at a stadium or sitting at home, that riff is clear, lively, and well known! It is funny to note that the title of this song came from Jack White mishearing and thinking the words “The Salvation Army” were actually “Seven Nation Army.”
Slightly off topic… I love Jack White’s surprising friendship with country star Loretta Lynn. She had heard of his admiration for her as a pioneering artist in the country music world and invited him to her home for dinner, where she served her homemade chicken and dumplings, and the rest is history! He went on to produce her 2004 album “Van Lear Rose,” and she credited him with revitalizing her career and introducing her to a new generation.
Their relationship truly does show how music is a universal language that can bridge the gaps between us!
