One of our favorite traditions when we check into the Hershey Lodge is heading straight down to The Bears Den to kick off the trip.
When it comes to the appetizers, we don’t even need to look at the menu anymore. We already know exactly what we are getting: the loaded nachos and the warm pretzels.
Heading into this trip, we actually had a fun idea for the blog. We thought it would be great to do a head-to-head taste test, comparing The Bears Den nachos to the famous nachos we always get down at Epcot. We figured we would finally declare a definitive winner between the two.
But once that massive plate arrived at our table and we actually dug in, we realized something: you really just can’t compare them.
It isn’t a matter of one being better than the other. They are just completely different styles of nachos, built with different flavor profiles and entirely different vibes. The Bears Den nachos are absolute perfection for that sports-bar atmosphere, while the Epcot nachos bring their own totally unique flair. They are both incredible in their own distinct ways.
So, the great Nacho Debate is officially going to end in a tie for now. But whether we are hanging out in Hershey or down in Disney, one thing is for sure—as long as there is a plate of nachos in front of us, we just can’t go wrong!
